TOTE BAG - O Flaherty's Bar by Suili

€29.50

O’Flaherty’s Bar, Buncrana, now immortalised on an organic canvas tote bag

A hand-drawn design of the facade of O’Flaherty’s Bar screen-printed by hand onto a jumbo canvas tote.

O’Flaherty’s Bar is one of the most well-known bars in Buncrana town. Established in 1939, it is popular with both visitors and locals for its live music and extensive cocktail menu. It was a no-brainer that it had to be one of the next tote bags in our Irish pub collection.

Screen-printed with a solvent-free process, using water-based ink on organic canvas - making it better for the environment.

The tote bag has a long shoulder-length handle, and plenty of space inside for shopping, your laptop, or college books.

What is a screen print? A screen print is a method of printmaking where ink is pushed through a stencilled mesh to create an image. It’s the technique that Andy Warhol used to make his famous “Marilyn Monroe” prints - and many other artists do the same. It’s not digital and so each print is considered “unique”, and every bag is hand printed by Cara in Derry Print Workshop.
